John Stephen Announces Campaign Chairmen Congressional Candidate List Broad Cross-section Of Republican Leaders To Assist Campaign
MANCHESTER, NH- 1st District Congressional Candidate John Stephen today announced the men and women who will serve as Chairmen for his campaign. These top Republican leaders represent a broad cross-section of New Hampshire and will advise and help focus campaign activity for Stephen.
"These leaders represent some of the soundest political minds in the state," said Stephen. "They will be tremendous assets and will provide great advice to the campaign and me as we move forward and I am tremendously grateful for their help in getting me elected to Congress. Each of these men and women shares my strong belief about the need to bring New Hampshire values to Washington."
Former Senate Finance Committee Chairman Chuck Morse will serve as the Campaign Chairman. Senator Jack Barnes, Representatives Peter Batula and Carolyn Brown, Former Congressman and current McCain Co-Chair Chuck Douglas, longtime Department of Safety Commissioner Richard Flynn, former Executive Councilor Ruth Griffin and former State Republican Party Chairman Wayne Semprini will serve as Stephen's Co-Chairs.
"John Stephen has proven his commitment to keeping spending in check and taxes low, while delivering results," added Morse. "That's what we need in Washington now, someone who can bring efficient, effective government to Congress. John's track record speaks for itself- it's why so many people from across New Hampshire are supporting him, and why I know that he will do a great job representing our values."
Stephen is the former Commissioner of Health and Human Services. Prior to that position, he served as the Assistant Commissioner of Safety, where he also served as the state's Coordinator of Homeland Security. Stephen also served as a prosecutor for 10 years, in Hillsborough County and as an Assistant Attorney General. He is a Manchester resident.
