State Sen. Bob Clegg (R-Hudson) has been endorsed by 60 current and former state legislators.
The legislators will form Clegg's "Legislative Leadership Team," for his congressional candidacy.
The list includes state Senators and state representatives, some of which are not even in Clegg's Congressional district.
"I am truly honored to receive the support of so many current and former colleagues. Together we worked very hard to better things for the people of New Hampshire and I look forward to continuing those efforts in Washington," Clegg said in a press release.
Endorsers included state Sens. Mike Downing (R-Salem), Bob Odell (R-Lempster), Ted Gatsas (R-Manchester), John Gallus (R-Berlin) Jack Barnes (R-Raymond) and Bob Letourneau (R-Derry).
Former state Sens. Chuck Morse (R-Salem), Russell Prescott (R-Kingston) Bob Boyce (R-Laconia) and former Executive Councilor Dave Wheeler (R-Milford) also endorsed Clegg.
Clegg is competing in the Republican primary in the Second Congressional District against Jennifer Horn (R-Nashua), Grant Bosse (R-Hillsboro) and Jim Steiner (R-Concord).
