Judge Bud Martin (D-Laconia) will officially launch his campaign for state Senate with a boat cruise.
Martin will host a kick-off event on May 31 aboard the M/S Mount Washington.
He is running in Senate District 3, for the seat being abandoned by state Sen. Joe Kenney (R-Wakefield). Former state Rep. Sam Cataldo (R-Wakefield) is rumored to be considering a run.

The right man for the job
I am very pleased to see Judge Martin as the Democratic Candidate for State Senate. He is a true moderate and a community leader. His experience on the bench has shown him the value of community and his leadership will bring the Senate the bi-partisan sense that it needs.
Not only is Bud Martin a respected leader from the Family Court system, but he is also a businessman who understands the importance of supporting business in New Hampshire.
I look forward to Bud representing us in Concord!

We are only one broad base tax from turning into Massachusetts.
