Merrimack Dems elect new leaders
By Brian Lawson, PolitickerNH.com ReporterCONCORD- Merrimack County Democrats have elected new leaders and representatives to the state Democratic committee.
Alex Lee was elected chairman, vice-chair is Brenda MacLellan, Beth Campbell was re-elected treasurer and Anne Dowling is the secretary.
"It's important for us to work together and elect Democrats," Lee told the group of 50 Democrats.
To fill six committee positions the Democrats elected: Janice Kelble, Amanda Grady, Steve Shurtleff, Terri Lockhead, Tim Chrysostum and Elizabeth Sanders.

Alex Lee runs Project Laundry List, Brenda is a teacher, Beth Campbell works for the state, and Ann works in the private sector. Janice works for the state, Steve is a state rep and city councilor, Elizabeth Saunders is a Doctor, Tim and Janice are long time activists, and Amanda Grady is the former president of the Young Democrats.
who we are
All of us, with the exception of maybe one person, have been very involved in the Merrimack Co. Dems for the past few year and all of us have all worked on numerous campaigns to help elect Democrats in NH.
Actually I do not work for the State. I was a postal worker for many years and now work as a grassroots coordinator for the NE Area for the American Postal Workers Union. I live in Franklin and I think at least 4 other committee members are from areas of the county outside of Concord.
You should come to a meeting and meet us. We meet on the 3rd Tuesday each month at 6 pm and all Merrimack Co. Dems are more than welcome.
