Petrones host fundraiser for Horn

The Petrones are honorary co-chairmen of her campaign for congress.

According to a campaign press release, 90 people attended the event at their house in Dublin with guest speaker Daveed Gartstein-Ross, Vice President of Research for the Foundation for the Defense of Democracies.

Earlier this month, Grant Bosse (R-Hillsboro) claimed that Gartstein-Ross's appearance violated his group's non-profit status.

"What I appreciate about Jennifer is that while we may not always agree, she is always willing to hear the other side and debate the issues important to all Americans. We need someone like Jennifer in Congress who will put partisan bickering aside to work together on fixing this country's biggest problems of energy and terrorism," Gartstein-Ross said.

Horn is running in the 2nd Congressional District primary against Bosse, Jim Steiner (R-Concord) and state Sen. Bob Clegg (R-Hudson).
