Donate to Shaheen, attend a Sox game

Shaheen's campaign manager, Bill Hyers, wrote an e-mail to supporters notifying them they could enter a drawing for Green Monster tickets to the July 19 game.

"A contribution of $25 automatically enters you into a drawing for the tickets. Each additional $25 you contribute will earn one additional entry," wrote Bill Hyers.

Hyers added that "every dollar you give will not only give you a chance at winning seats on the Green Monster at Fenway Park, it will also help in our effort to make this country green again by moving toward a new energy future. It will help get the ‘green' out of the pockets of Washington special interests and into the pockets of working families here in New Hampshire."

Why not keep it in NH?

So much for supporting NH workers. Why not offer give aways to help support the NH workers who are employed by the NH Fisher Cats, or even other NH tourist destinations?

She must be hedging on a lot of out of state money from Mass....doesn't surprise me one bit.

Manch- Ward 9 Voter

Are you kidding me!?!

How much support do the Red Sox give to New Hampshire!?!

They have brought both recent World Series Trophy to Manchester MANY MANY MANY times which always draws people to Manchester from all over New Hampshire. That means a big influx of cash to your city.

Now you are going to criticize Gov Shaheen for giving Sox fans a chance to get tickets that most people never get the chance to buy!?!

Give me a break!

So "Go Sox" the trophy went

So "Go Sox" the trophy went to Manchester, but what about us sox fans up north? Does NH begin at the Hooksett toll booth?

Why not just send me the $25 and i'll be sure to bid on tickets at stub hub. Your odds of going to a sox game would greatly improve.

Isn't the ticket raffling illegal since it is gambling?

Just another politician buying votes.

Also advertising for it

I ran across some online ads on BostonSportsMedia.com for this today as well. This seems to be a bit much.
