WAXMAN VISIT SHOWS HODES TOEING THE PARTY LINE, AS USUAL

CONCORD – Fergus Cullen, Chairman of the New Hampshire Republican Party made the following statement on Rep. Henry Waxman’s visit on behalf of Rep. Paul Hodes.

“Since his election, Congressman Hodes has had two members of Congress come to New Hampshire to help him raise money: Speaker Nancy Pelosi, and now the chairman of his own committee.  Rep. Henry Waxman’s visit underscores how tight Paul Hodes is with the Democratic leadership in Washington and how little independence from that Democratic leadership Hodes has shown since he went to Washington.  I suspect that Pelosi and Waxman don’t travel across the country to help independent-minded members of their caucus, but they do to reward their most loyal soldiers, of which Hodes is apparently one.”
