NEW WEBSITE TRACKS SUNUNU'S ATTACK GROUP SPENDING

www.SununuDirtyTricks.org tallies the outside spending against Shaheen, over $1 million spent so far

(Manchester, NH) - The New Hampshire Democratic Party launched www.SununuDirtyTricks.org today, a new website that will track attacks against former Gov. Jeanne Shaheen made on John Sununu's behalf. Sununu's political friends have spent over $1 million attacking Shaheen so far on television, radio and in the mail.

"John Sununu knows he can't win running on his record of supporting George Bush's disastrous economic policies and voting with Bush 90% of the time, so instead his longtime friends will spend millions on false, negative attacks against Gov. Shaheen," said Alex Reese, press secretary for the NHDP's Coordinated Campaign. "The Sununu Dirty Tricks website will track these shady outside groups and connect the dots between Sununu and his political allies that are trying to influence this election. The website will help voters see through these supposedly independent groups acting on Sununu's behalf -- they won't be fooled by his efforts to distract from a record of walking in lockstep with George Bush and hurting New Hampshire families."

In addition to cataloguing each new attack and tallying the outside money spent against Gov. Shaheen, the website includes a "Web of Deceit" that links Sununu to the outside political operatives responsible for these false attacks. The Web shows that Sununu has longtime ties to these supposedly independent groups that will spend millions on his behalf.
