Cullen says Biden 'undercuts' Obama's message

New Hampshire Republican Chairman Fergus Cullen says that by U.S. Sen. Joe Biden's (D-Del.) vice-presidential candidacy undermines U.S. Sen. Barack Obama's (D-Ill.) message of change.

"The choice of Senator Biden undercuts the notion that Obama is a change agent," Cullen said in a press conference. "Joe Biden has been in the senate for 35 years. He was elected to the senate at age 29; he has literally grown up and spent his entire adult life in the United States Senate."

Cullen added that Obama was "compensating for his weakness" in foreign policy matters.

"This self-described citizen-of-the-world has no foreign policy experience and so he has to get that from his running mate," Cullen said.

Let's See...

Let's see...McCain is a change agent. Yeah, right. Voting 95% of the time in favor of the Bush Plans on economy, war, secrecy, and energy during the past decade.

The Barack Obama-Joe Biden Administration will be an American Renaissance, where we'll renew our environment, commit to health care and quality education, get out of a war we shouldn't have started, have a smart war on terrorism, and preserve the freedoms provided by our Constitution.

talk about a parrot

Splaine is high again if he thinks Obama-Biden will usher in a "Renaissance". Nice talking points bud!

Way to get one of the most liberal US Senators, who has been serving for MORE THAN HALF OF HIS LIFE, to be your agent of "hope" and "change" for a "new kind of politics".

And Splaine, maybe you can explain if your version of the US Constitution protects the freedom of the 2nd Amendment?

While your clutching the 2nd

you might want to open your eyes and see the rest of your rights being whittled away, slowly but surely.

If we don't undo the damage done by the domestic enemies Bush/Cheney/Ashcroft/Gonzalez, we may very well have to utilize the freedom afforded us by the 2nd.

Wondering, Do you think it is OK for military, police and fire personnel to serve and protect the public for 20-30 years?

Joe Biden is looking out for the working class and has been for MORE THAN HALF OF HIS LIFE.

Compare that to Dick Cheney who has served himself and his ilk since he gained power.

Rather sickening actually.

good one

Good one Splaine, you sound like your man Obama with his "clinging to guns" comment awhile back. I'm a fan of all of the first 10 Amendments, not just the 2nd. I have no problem with anyone serving for 20 years, 30, or longer... in any profession. My point was that it seriously undercuts Obama's claims of being an agent of change, or of bringing a new kind of politics to Washington.

one more thing

You Dems forget that Ashcroft is long gone (thankfully) and that you can't vote against Cheney any more.

Cheney a poster child

for gun rights.

I think citizens should have arms, btw. Keeps gov't from going overboard.

Checks and Balances!
