Biden to visit N.H.

U.S. Sen. Joe Biden will visit New Hampshire on September 10, U.S. Sen. Barack Obama's campaign has announced.

The visit will be Biden's first visit to the Granite State since the primary and his first as the Democratic vice-presidential nominee. Details of the visit will be announced at a later date.

"After a week in which John McCain and Sarah Palin failed to offer solutions to the challenges Granite Staters struggle with, Senator Joe Biden will be coming to New Hampshire to talk about how he and Senator Obama plan to help working New Hampshire families with everything from home heating costs, to job loss, to rising health care costs, and gas prices," said Sandra Abrevaya, Obama's New Hampshire communications director, in a press release.  "Senator Biden knows New Hampshire well and understands that hard working residents here want to hear about how we move forward to put our country back on track."

how exciting...

I liked huckabee's line the other night that Sarah Palin got more votes running for mayor in AK than Biden got running for president... priceless.

I wonder if Biden will do an off the record stop at the jail where his state chairman is currently residing...

Dems have lost their steam, everyone's waking up and realizing Obama/Biden is not going to help anyone.

More Lies

Giuliani's lie was immediately exposed. Biden got more votes in Florida alone this year than Palin ever received as mayor.

I feel a lot better about

I feel a lot better about Biden being next in line than I do the pitbull sarah! There angry people eat that

biden

remove the best choice for president (John McCain) from the conversation and I still feel better having Sarah Palin be the next president than I do Obama...

Supporting either

Supporting either Obama/Biden or McCain/Palin is an exercise in lunacy unless you are the benefactor of their policies, which is to say, roughly 1% of the population. The remaining 99% of the US population are to be spectators left to bicker amongst themselves about which king they want to pillage them, their country, and others abroad.

That is to say, it's business as usual, carry on.

Putting Our Lives In Their Hands

When we vote for President, we put a lot into their hands. Our future. Our dreams. And our lives. They have the nuclear codes, and depending on their temperment and that of those who surround them, you just never know how they'll react.

I've gained confidence in Barack Obama by watching him these past 19 months. And while I wish he had chosen Hillary Clinton as his Vice President, I can trust Joe Biden.

But I/we know very little about Sarah Palin. And John McCain likes to rattle his saber and talk tough whenever he can -- not what we need in Earth 2008.

We need a smart war on terrorism, not a knee-jerk reaction to attack Iraq or attack Iran, or to take on Russia. We need someone as President who has a clear vision. I didn't hear that in John McCain's speech. I don't see that in the Republican Party Platform. And Sarah Palin's speech was someone else's words, fairly well delivered -- so that doesn't tell me anything about her other than she couldn't even manage to sell the Alaska state jet on E-Bay.

Bail Out Jim Ryan

Biden is actually coming to NH just to bail out his Presidential campaign Chair, Rep. Jim Ryan!

Hey Concord Guy

FORMER ARKANSAS GOV. MIKE HUCKABEE: Palin “got more votes running for mayor of Wasilla, Alaska than Joe Biden got running for president of the United States.”

THE FACTS: A whopper. Palin got 616 votes in the 1996 mayor’s election, and got 909 in her 1999 re-election race, for a total of 1,525. Biden dropped out of the race after the Iowa caucuses, but he still got 76,165 votes in 23 states and the District of Columbia where he was on the ballot during the 2008 presidential primaries.

09/06/08 3:46 pm

Great

Biden got 76,000 votes in 24 different presidential primaries. I will accept that as true. I will also accept it as very sad. Besides the jailed Jim Ryan, who else actually supported this guy?

09/06/08 8:24 pm

Biden support?

It's thin and the fools who support him have blinders on. He lied about the condition of the guy who t-boned his wife's car, claiming he was drunk when Mrs. Biden drove into an intersection against a light. He was not, but the truth did not matter to Slow Joe then, nor does it now. Biden lied about his own life's story, instead lifting that of a British MP, right down to the "my father worked in a coalmine" lie. Biden then lied about who said it was "ok" to "use" the story. Biden lied, and continues to lie, about his law school record, claiming to have finished in the top half, when he actually finished in teh bottom third, after almost flunking out at the conclusion of his first year. SLow Joe has never held a real job but, then again, neither has obama. 35 years in the Senate and this hair-plugged blowhard is the best the democrats can do? Splaine, you need to start thinking instead of mindlessly reciting the booshat fed to you by the idiots in the democrat hierarchy. Aw, who am I kidding? Splaine hasn't had an original thought since the third grade.

Town Hall Talk

I never cease to be amazed at some of the comments here. We can forget the chickens that post trash under a nom-de-blog.
How, I wonder, can some folks spill such utter crap here with their name attached to it? Then I wonder, would they say such things standing before their friends and neighbors at town hall?

Well Jack, when speaking the

Well Jack, when speaking the truth, something at which Biden has been consistently proven to unable to do, one can say what one wants. I can and do speak plainly, bluntly and truthfully in front of anyone who is in front of me, something that most are afraid to do. Courage in my convictions and knowing that what I am saying is true allows me the confidence to speak in such a manner. Please, Jack, point out to me any inaccuracies in my post. Let's address content, not style. Are you capable of that or are you so smitten with obama that style trumps content? I think I already know the answer to that one. Insert "eye-roll" emoticon here.

The burden of proof is on you Bill

You make these wild claims without a single link. Surely, if you know what an emoticon is, you can work the intertubes.

Try dazzling with brilliance, ‘cause the baffling smells.

I’m not such a cheerleader that won’t admit concerns, but let’s get out of faux news and get to something of substance. Seems you’re the one that dwells in the old politics that most of us are tired of.

Sigh

Not that a biden rump-swab like you will accept reality, but try these:

You see, Jack, one needn't look far to find that biden is full of sh!t. And as to never holding a real job, well, if you think being a legislator is a real job, then you've merely confirmed that you are a stupid, lazy person.

Rump Swab. That is the best insult I have heard in a while. You should send a few over to Poirier.

Next stop: I know you are, but what am I?

So Mitchell, you cannot

So Mitchell, you cannot dispute the truth, so you deflect. Typical of an obama-bot.

Sinking to your level

Only one source that you cited seems to meet any jounalistic standard. I haven't heard Biden speak about those details, so I am trying to research credible sources.

Go ahead Bill, shoot your pie hole off. It's a free country. Are personal family issues open to questions? Are you a Palin supporter? Or are you a fringer that doesn't care about either party and you just stir up the stench?

09/08/08 3:11 pm

Aaahhhh, I see now. In order to comment on the political process, one must be a party bot. Keep yapping, Jackoff, the more you speak, the more I know I'm right about you.

Your all seeing eye

and beings from Sirius gave you the skinny on Jack, eh.

We're done for now.

Lurkers, think what you want.
