A prominent Massachusetts Congressman will be crossing the border into New Hampshire in mid-October to help raise money for the New Hampshire Democratic Party.
U.S. Rep. Barney Frank (D-Mass.) will be the keynote speaker at the annual Jefferson Jackson dinner being held on October 18.
"We are extremely delighted to announce that Congressman Barney Frank will be our keynote speaker at the annual Jefferson Jackson Dinner," New Hampshire Democratic Party Chair Raymond Buckley said in a press release. "With the economy the number one concern of New Hampshire's working families, there is no more relevant or timely American voice on the subject than Congressman Frank who chairs the powerful House Financial Services Committee.
Previous speakers have included Vice President Al Gore, U.S. Sen. Jim Webb (D-Vir.), Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-N.Y.) and U.S. Sen. Evan Bayh (D-Ind.)
