HODES CAMPAIGN BOUGHT BY SPECIAL INTERESTS
Received $453,550 from Labor Unions

NASHUA – Jennifer Horn, Republican candidate for Congress, highlighted Paul Hodes’ long relationship with Labor Unions.

Paul Hodes has received nearly a half of a million dollars in campaign contributions from labor unions,” said Jennifer Horn.  “Then, Paul Hodes co-sponsored union legislation that would take away a workers’ right to a secret ballot election when deciding whether or not to join a labor union.”

Horn continued: “If Paul Hodes can so easily trade away fundamental American rights like the secret ballot, what else will he give away to the special interests?  

Of the $1,120,080 in PACs contribution Paul Hodes has received since 2004, Labor Unions have contributed $453,550 or 40% of the total contributions.  The breakdown is as follows:

 “This is why people do not trust politicians like Paul Hodes.  He campaigned in 2006 as a reformer, and when he got elected, he embraced the business as usual mentality in Washington.  Paul Hodes accepts massive campaign contributions from special interests and then votes for their interest instead of the interest of New Hampshire,” concluded Horn.
