Local Employee Groups Endorse Harold Janeway for State Senate

State Senator Harold Janeway has received the endorsements of numerous local employee organizations including the State Employees' Association of New Hampshire (SEIU, Local 1984), the New Hampshire AFL-CIO, the NH State Building and Construction Trades Council, the Professional Fire Fighters of New Hampshire, the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (Local 2320), and the Chauffeurs, Teamsters and Helpers (Local 633).

In endorsing Senator Janeway, the SEA said "We are very fortunate to have dedicated public officials who take on the hard work required to be successful in electoral politics and we are proud to be able to support your campaign."

Over the past two years, Harold Janeway has worked with Governor Lynch and the Democratic legislature to raise the minimum wage, expand workforce housing and extend unemployment benefits to part-time workers who are laid off.

Senator Janeway has responded to the endorsements, saying, "I am proud to have the support of these important organizations; I share with them a deep respect for the working families of New Hampshire. In co-sponsoring the bill to
expand workforce housing, I joined together with workers' groups and the Business and Industry Association to find a solution that benefits everybody in the State. As a former small business owner, I understand the important role that
small businesses play in our economy. I will continue to work hard representing the working families and small businesses that make New Hampshire such a great place to live."

In addition to the endorsements of local employee organizations, Harold Janeway has also earned the respect and support of business leaders and organizations throughout the State.
