State Sen. Bob Clegg (R-Hudson) picked up the endorsement of Retired Army Major General John Blatsos today in the race for the Republican nomination for the 2nd Congressional District
The 40-year Army veteran wrote in a letter that Clegg will represent men and women in uniform "365 days a year, not just in November of an election year."
“Today’s middle class is what we fought for in World War II and it has made this country what it is today," wrote Blastos. "Senator Clegg knows this and makes this his first priority. Washington will not change Senator Clegg, he will change Washington."
"It is always humbling to receive support of someone who so honorably served this nation and this state for so long," said Clegg.
Clegg's Republican primary opponents are Jim Steiner (R-Concord), Grant Bosse (R-Hillsboro) and Jennifer Horn (R-Nashua).
