Shea-Porter launches campaign

MANCHESTER--U.S. Rep. Carol Shea-Porter (D-Rochester) officially launched her re-election campaign with an event hours after Barack Obama packed Manchester's Veterans Park.

Shea-Porter will be facing former U.S. Rep. Jeb Bradley (R-Wolfeboro) in a rematch of their 2006 race.

"John Stephen and I disagree on a lot of things, but we agree on one thing and that's Jeb Bradley was what's wrong with Washington," Shea-Porter told supporters at Chateau restaurant. Stephen was Bradley's opponent in the Republican primary.

Kruse to officially kick-off campaign

State Senate candidate Doug Kruse (R-Manchester) will officially launch his campaign on August 6th with a fundraiser.

The kick-off event and fundraiser with take place at Manchester's The Belmont Hall & Restaurant on Grove Street.

Knytych preparing to kick-off campaign

Stephen to launch candidacy with bus tour

Republican congressional candidate John StephenRepublican congressional candidate John StephenCongressional candidate John Stephen (R-Manchester) will officially launch his bid with a bus tour of the 1st Congressional District.

Stephen will spend May 12 visiting Glen, Conway, Laconia, Somersworth, Portsmouth, Raymond and Manchester.

Stephen is competing against former Congressman Jeb Bradley (R-Wolfeboro) in the Republican primary.
