Hodes Ignores Reality of Energy Crisis, Ready for Another Vacation
After Voting for Sham “Energy” Bill, Hodes Wants Head Home to Spin Record

Washington- Showing concern over her re-election odds, Rep. Paul Hodes (D-NH) voted today to adjourn Congress for another vacation without making sure that energy legislation is enacted (House Roll Call 610). After Rep. Paul Hodes' last five-week paid vacation, he returned to Washington just long enough to vote for a sham “energy” bill designed only to give himself political cover to try and distract voters from his “do-nothing, drill-nothing” record on energy.  But unfortunately for Americans still feeling the pain at the pump, the Hodes-backed bill is “dead on arrival” in the Senate and has no chance of becoming law.
