Just for fun: Bayh vs Biden

The list of vice-presidential contenders for U.S. Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) apparently continues to narrow, and U.S. Sens. Evan Bayh (D-Ind.) and Joe Biden (D-Del.) are considered to be among the more likely possibilities.

Would either choice help Obama carry New Hampshire more than the other? There isn't too much available information, but just for fun, consider the vote-drawing capability of Biden vs. Bayh.

Although he had already withdrawn from the race after his loss in Iowa, Biden received 638 (corrected) votes (0.2 percent) in the 2008 primary.

The last time the Granite state voted for a Bayh was in the Democratic presidential primary of 1976 when Evan Bayh's father, then-U.S. Sen. Birch Evans Bayh II, finished third with 15.2 percent of the vote behind Jimmy Carter and Morris K. Udall.
