NHGOP STATEMENT ON SUPREME COURT RULING

CONCORD –   Fergus Cullen, Chairman of the New Hampshire Republican Party, made the following statement today:

“We join freedom-loving people everywhere in welcoming the Supreme Court’s decision this morning striking down the D.C. gun ban. With Barack Obama visiting New Hampshire tomorrow, I wonder how he will explain his support for this unconstitutional ban. Obama’s support for the D.C. gun ban is just part of a long record of anti-gun positions that show a profound misunderstanding of the Second Amendment. Obama should spend less time labeling gun owners as bitter, and more time reading the Constitution.”

"Both have sided with House Democratic leaders on about 98 percent of votes, according to congressional voting records records," The Monitor concluded. "Those percentages put Hodes and Shea-Porter in the top fifth of House members when it comes to voting with their own party."
