Jeb Bradley Caught Fibbing In Radio DebateCandidate Reinvents Record On Death Penalty Vote
MANCHESTER, NH- In an on-air debate this morning, Jeb Bradley attempted to reinvent his record on the death penalty.  In the State House, Bradley voted twice to abolish the death penalty in New Hampshire (HB 1548, Roll call #120, 6/27/2000 & HB 171, Roll call #45, 4/5/2001), yet in the debate, he claimed to have always supported the death penalty.

And the first debate is over

Listening to the very entertaining and heated debate this morning on WGIR radio between Jeb Bradley and John Stephen I came away with one conclusion, Bradley needs to learn who he is running against. Congressman, it’s John Stephen, not Stephens. Carols Sheas-Porters even knows that.

Calls for Return of $10,000 Donation

Manchester, NH – Yesterday the US House voted, primarily along party lines, against censuring Charles Rangel for his unethical behavior.  It has been prominently reported recently that Rangel accepted cut rent from a campaign donor for four New York City apartments, he used taxpayer funded congressional staff and material in order to raise money unrelated to his official duties and he sponsored an earmark to fund a library and office space dedicated to himself. Carol Shea-Porter yesterday, voted against condemning these actions.

Are primaries good for the GOP?

After the dust settles from the election the question will be asked whether or not competitive primaries, in both congressional districts, benefited the Republican Party.

Did the primaries help or hinder voter outreach? What if there are lingering harsh feelings? Should the candidates have used tougher words on U.S. Rep. Paul Hodes (D-Concord) and U.S. Rep. Carol Shea-Porter (D-Rochester) instead of on each other? These are just some of the "what if" questions that will be examined after November, especially if Republicans fail to gain a congressional seat.
