AFTER SENDING DECEPTIVE LYNCH MAILER TO TRY TO FOOL VOTERS, GALLUS MUST ADMIT WHO HE IS VOTING FOR IN NOVEMBER - LYNCH OR KENNEY

BERLIN, NH - After thousands of voters received a deceptive mailer from John Gallus this week featuring photos of him with Governor John Lynch - who is supporting Gallus's opponent, Martha McLeod - local citizens called on Gallus today to admit whether he himself plans on voting for Lynch or state Senator Joe Kenney in November.

Local pols. analyze Denley, Martin SD3 race

State Sen. Joe Kenney's decision to run for governor has led to one of the most competitive state Senate races in the state.

State Rep. Bill Denley (R-Wakefield) won a three-way primary on September 9 to square-off against Bud Martin (D-Center Sandwich) in November.

Local politicians agree that the race will come down to how well the candidates perform in the southern part of the district.

Bradley: ‘J-Team’ will help GOP

DERRY-- They might not be the "A-Team" but former U.S. Rep. Jeb Bradley (R-Wolfeboro) said at the Republican state convention that the "J-Team" will bring Republicans to victory in November.

According to Bradley, the "J-Team" is comprised of U.S. Sen. John Sununu (R-Waterville Valley), state Sen., and gubernatorial candidate, Joe Kenney (R-Wakefield), 2nd Congressional District candidate Jennifer Horn (R-Nashua) and Bradley himself, who is running in the 1st Congressional District.

If not Kenney, who? The 62 NH Republicans who would get at least 18 percent against Lynch this year

The University of New Hampshire poll this week showed Republican gubernatorial candidate Joe Kenney receiving a whopping 17 percent of support against Democratic Gov. John Lynch. Given Lynch's approval rating (75 percent) some argue that no one could do better than that. I disagree.

Below is a non-comprehensive list of 62 New Hampshire Republicans we think would at least get 18 percent. Surely U.S. Sens. John E. Sununu and John McCain have their own wish lists. Use the comment section to argue how wrong I was or who I stupidly left off.

Denley on defense about his former mortgage company and the law

The Republican running in the state Senate District 3 seat vacated by Joe Kenney is facing serious questions as to why his mortgage business failed.

Maine's Attorney General is suggesting Downeast Mortgage Corp, which state Rep. Bill Denley founded 21 years ago, was prosecuted and agreed to a fine for alledgely advising a couple of a scheme whereby they could apply as a business to get around residential lending rules. Denley said the lawsuit did not make his company go under in the spring, but instead it was the nationwide housing crisis.
He said the fact these allegations are coming out now is "an outlandish political attack."
