CONCORD --- The New Hampshire Coalition to Abolish the Death Penalty expressed its commitment to strengthening its efforts to abolish the death penalty in the wake of yesterday’s jury decision to sentence Michael Addison to death.
“It was wrong for Michael Addison to kill Michael Briggs and it is wrong for the State to kill Michael Addison,” said Barbara Keshen, chair of the New Hampshire Coalition to Abolish the Death Penalty. “The death penalty devalues life. We should honor life, and we don’t do that by killing people, even people who do terrible things.”
