Russell Prescott Makes Official Candidacy for Executive Council District 3 seat
Kingston, NH - Today, former state Senator Russell Prescott, joined his fellow Republican Executive Council candidates to officially file his candidacy papers for the Executive Council District 3 seat. Prescott has previously announced his district-wide leadership team and Legislators for Prescott coalition.

Among the five, of course, was Ray Burton (R-Bath), incumbent Executive Councilor is running for re-election in District 1. If re-elected, Burton would be the longest serving Executive Councilor in New Hampshire history, according to Secretary of State Bill Gardner.

Russell Prescott kicks off Executive Council District 3 campaign

Exeter, NH Russell Prescott, Republican Candidate for the Executive Council District 3 seat, held a successful fundraiser and rally last night to kick off his campaign. More than 50 supporters gathered at Bruce Brown’s Lobster Pound in Seabrook to enjoy chowder and conversation.

Clegg endorsed by 60 current, former legislators

State Sen. Bob Clegg (R-Hudson) has been endorsed by 60 current and former state legislators.

The legislators will form Clegg's "Legislative Leadership Team," for his congressional candidacy.

The list includes state Senators and state representatives, some of which are not even in Clegg's Congressional district.

Prescott to hold fundraiser

Executive Council candidate Russell Prescott (R-Kingston) will hold a fundraiser on May 20.

The fundraiser will take place at Brown's in Seabrook.

Prescott, a former state Senator, is competing against current Councilor Beverly Hollingworth (D-Hampton).

Tri-town GOP group holds meatball contest

GOP meatball contestGOP meatball contestSTRATHAM- The tri-town Republican committees of Exeter, Stratham and North Hampton hosted a fundraiser featuring homemade meatballs.

Former Congressman Jeb Bradley, former Health and Human Services Secretary John Stephen, Executive Council candidate Russell Prescott and former party Chairman Wayne Semprini were among 18 contestants whose meatball recipes were judged by three local restaurant owners. Famed local chef Mary Ann Esposito decided the winner.

Supporters include State Senators Michael Downing (R-Salem) and Robert Letourneau (R-Derry) and twenty-three state representatives.
