McCain, Palin to visit N.H. ‘soon’

MINNEAPOLIS-- Speaking at a breakfast for the New Hampshire delegation Steve Duprey, an adviser to John McCain's presidential campaign, said McCain and vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin will visit the Granite State "very soon."

"Governor Palin will visit the state very soon, and John will visit the state very, very soon," Duprey said but did not disclose details of the visits.

Deputy Permanent Co-Chair Duprey

I am not exactly sure what the Deputy Permanent Co-Chair does at a national convention, but I am guessing former state Republican Chairman Steve Duprey does.  Or at least he will soon.  Duprey has been named by the John McCain campaign and the RNC as a “Deputy Permanent Co-Chair” of the Republican National Convention.

Dems, GOP file FEC numbers

According to FEC filings the New Hampshire Republican Party (NHGOP) ended April with more cash-on-hand than the New Hampshire Democratic Party (NHDP).

The filings cover the month of April and provide a snapshot into the financial health of the state parties.

‘Glorified hanger-on’ of McCain campaign

Steve Duprey, former state Republican Chairman, has been traveling aboard campaign buses and planes since January.

He has gained the reputation of being the "funny guy," The Wall Street Journal reports.

Bradley announces endorsements

Former Republican Congressman Jeb Bradley announced a slate of people who will form his Leadership Council.

The individuals are tasked with helping Bradley win the Republican primary and eventually beat U.S. Congresswoman Carol Shea-Porter.
