Rep. Mark Udall Calls for Rangel to Resign As Shea-Porter Remains Silent
Will Shea-Porter Finally Call for his Resignation and Return his Tainted Cash?

Washington – Today, during a debate on Meet the Press, Congressman and Democratic Senate candidate, Rep. Mark Udall (D-CO) called on Rep. Charlie Rangel (D-NY) to step down as Chairman of the House Ways & Means Committee in light of his three ethics investigations for questionable practices. This past week, Rep. Dave Loebsack (D-IA), gave up his $5,000 in Rangel contributions and newspaper editorial boards all across the country have called on Rangel to resign and for Democratic candidates to give back his contributions. All that’s left is for Carol Shea-Porter (D-NH) to echo Udall’s call for Rangel to resign and for her to return the $14,000 she’s received from Charlie Rangel’s fundraising accounts.
