MANCHESTER, NH- John Stephen, Republican candidate for New Hampshire's 1st Congressional district, today pointed out that he shares the same values and beliefs as Alaska Governor and Vice Presidential nominee Sarah Palin, while Jeb Bradley find himself on the opposite side of the same issues.  Stephen supports Alaska's own Governor Sarah Palin's plan to drill in Alaska.  Bradley voted three times against it (Roll Call #135, 2003; Roll Call #122, 2005; Roll Call #209, 2006).  Stephen and Palin have both taken a pledge to oppose wasteful earmark spending, Bradley has refused to take a pledge.  Stephen and Palin are both pro-life, Bradley voted with Nancy Pelosi for taxpayer funded abortions through the United Nations Population Fund (RC #266, 2005).

Shea-Porter criticizes Clinton abortion mailer

Congresswoman Carol Shea-Porter says she "wishes" Senator Hillary Clinton did not send out a mailer on Barack Obama's abortion record.

"I wish she hadn't had done that," Shea-Porter said.
