Larry Elliott, a former state representative and a current candidate for state senate in New Hampshire's 7th senate district has sent out an email to potential supporters and contributors from the Log Cabin Republicans. PolitickerNH has obtained a copy of the email where Elliott states he shares "our Log Cabin Values" and asks for donations to spread the message. Below is a copy of the email.
"This e-mail is to let you know that the Log Cabin Republican Organization has given me your name as someone who might be able to help me win the New Hampshire State Senate race. You will be receiving, in a few days, a letter from my campaign asking for your assistance. I would appreciate you to taking the time to fill out the response card. Each $1.00 raised allows me to contact two voters. Each $5.00 raised helps to purchase a campaign sign and each $25.00 raised will be of enourmous assistance to our campaign. Your generous donations will help in having a senator who shares our Log Cabin values elected into office. Thank you for your support.
