This is very wrong

I did not decide to run for the Democratic National Committee until Anita Freedman told me she was not running for re-election. Putting Anita in the "loser" column is wrong, and your statement that she isn't running because of me is totally baseless, because I would not have run against Anita. You owe her an apology. Anita has done a lot for the NHDP, and she does not deserve to have something like this said about her.

How insulting!

For nearly forty years Anita Freedman has dedicated her every waking moment to the Democratic Party. For decades Anita served as the Portsmouth City Chair, for as long as I can remember Anita has been on the Rockingham County Democratic Committee and Anita has served longer on the DNC than any other person in history! Her work for candidates is legendary. Nearly a decade ago the NHDP (under Chair Sullivan) created the Freedman award named after Anita and her late husband Norm.

Whoever suggested that Kathy Sullivan would ever consider running against Anita is very wrong. Kathy just emailed me to report on this misinformation. It is very insulting to Anita. Please remove it immediately!

How pathetic

Post your name next time you are going to lie buddy. Why don't you call Anita yourself? How pathetic.

Wow, tough break for the 'ticker.

I'd imagine being wrong in your reporting is made far less fun when you're called out on it by the power players you're reporting on.

As a general rule, though I'd be a much more loyal reader if this publication were to cease presenting speculation as fact. That is, unless the person who wrote this was told directly and on the record by Ms. Freedman of her reasons, which seems exceedingly unlikely.
